Aurora Cellars Blaufränkisch 2021 Review
On the Leelanau Peninsula of northern Michigan, where winters are hefty and long, siblings Sam and Taylor Simpson focus on making high-quality wine from cool-climate grapes. This is one of the more complex examples of this variety in the U.S. The nose has deep, dark fruit with slight hints of cured meat and pepper. The palate is round and juicy with impressive fruit depth.
